Terms of service
Last updated: January 2026. The plain-English version is: act in good faith and we will too.
1. The agreement
By using Rentdigicare, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
Rentdigicare provides software and managed services for residential property management — tenant screening, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and related operations.
3. Your account
- Keep your credentials secure.
- Don't share accounts across people; create users for each team member.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Fees and billing
Fees are described on your signed order form. Billing is monthly in arrears. Disputes about charges must be raised within 60 days.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't use the service to violate laws or third-party rights.
- Don't reverse engineer, copy, or resell the platform.
- Don't introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. On termination, you can export your data for 90 days. After that, we delete it from production systems (backups age out within 12 months).
7. Liability
Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you've paid in the 12 months prior to a claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Calgary.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
